HOW IT WORKS

Paint Protection Film (PPF) application involves a few key steps to ensure proper installation and optimal protection, all of which we practice at TintTek+:

Surface Preparation: We clean the vehicle thoroughly to remove dirt, grease, and contaminants and decontaminate the paint using a clay bar or similar product. We then polish the paint to eliminate any existing scratches or swirl marks.

Film Cutting and Positioning: We measure and cut the PPF to fit the specific panels of the vehicle then use a pre-cut kit or a plotter to ensure precise dimensions. We position the film on the vehicle, using a slip solution (water and soap mix) to allow for adjustments.

Application and Adherence: Once positioned correctly, we use a squeegee to remove the slip solution and air bubbles from underneath the film and use a heat gun to help the film conform to all curves of the car.

Final Touches and Curing: We then add final touches and inspect all aspects of the PPF application to ensure proper application for longevity.
