The Tesla Model Y's panoramic glass roof is one of the most significant solar load sources of any SUV on the market. The Model Y's panoramic roof receives our highest-performing film: LLumar IRX nano-ceramic, which achieves up to 88% infrared rejection. In practical terms, this film reduces the thermal energy entering through the roof by nearly nine-tenths — a difference you feel immediately after installation. The Model Y also features a very large rear liftgate window — one of the biggest single glass panels on any crossover — and large fixed rear side windows.
